Would you give if you could?

AOK - Leukemia Lymphoma Society

On May 18th, I will be joining forty golfers for the 13th Annual Golf Marathon. This event will take place at Redtail Golf Club in Sorrento and will benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. This is not your regular golf tournament! I have taken on the challenge of playing 100 holes of golf (I don't know if my body can make 100 holes in one day) and raising a minimum of $6,500.

One of the main reasons I am trying to raise funds on May 18th, is that my brother died of Leukemia when he was only 11 years old. This has changed and structured my life in so many ways and I miss him. I only hope you can pledge something/anything. With us being able to raise funds, I am hopeful Harrison will not have to go through what my brother Tommy did. I sometimes wonder what life would be like if he was here!

Harrison Joseph I am playing in honor of Harrison Joseph, who was diagnosed with Acute Myelogenous Leukemia on July 24, 2003 at 10 weeks old. Today he is in remission! I have enclosed a picture of Harrison, and I hope you will help me insure that his recovery continues to be successful by making a donation.

Here's how you can help! Over the next few weeks, I will be asking for the support of friends, family members and business associates to help us reach our goal in raising $60,000. With your help, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society raises funds that go primarily towards research and patient assistance. It is LLS's goal that one day in the very near future there will be a cure for all blood cancers.

With your support, we will make a difference in the lives of so many and turn the hope for a cure into a reality.

Thank you in advance for your generosity and support.
